Project Overview

The project converted an overgrown 5-acre former homestead into 12 residential homesites on a low-traffic cul-de-sac. The scope covered surveying, a city-required tree study, final platting, engineering, a public road and utilities. Coordination with private utilities, the county and the school district addressed the CSAH-19 road dedication and the connection between the new sidewalk and the school trail system.

Local Execution

The tree study required additional plantings and a contribution to the city fund. The team also worked through the city's request for a homeowners association, including preparing legal documents, before confirming that the association was a recommendation rather than a requirement. The project required direct coordination with local agencies and a clear understanding of the work and obligations needed to move forward.
